A Modern Floor Alternative

Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) and planks have surged in popularity in Sri Lanka. They provide the warm finish of solid wood parquet floorings at a fraction of the cost, with the added benefit of being completely waterproof.

Glue-Down Planks (GoFloor Collection)

Glue-down installation requires water-based acrylic adhesives spread evenly over smooth concrete screeds. This method is highly recommended for high-traffic zones (commercial lobbies, salons, schools) because the planks bond directly to the subfloor, eliminating any shifting or bubbling. In case of localized damage, a single plank can be peeled and replaced quickly without disturbing the surrounding floor.

Self-Leveling Screed Requirement

Whether you choose glue-down or floating layouts, subfloor preparation is crucial. The concrete base must be level, dry, and clean. Even minor bumps in the concrete will transfer to the surface of the vinyl planks over time. We recommend applying a self-leveling cement screed beforehand for a premium, flat finish.
